I just added some local analytics at the request of Unity. The software is Matomo, if you have JS disabled it will not track you whatsoever. Your IPs are anonymized, and we really can't see much info besides what country you're from and what page you visit. We just did this to see how the site is growing.

Normies don't often use imageboards. And the term is arbitrary, who am I to bar certain people based off a blanket term like that? The site being as democratic as it is has allowed a community to form.

You did good by permabanning him since he’s notorious on 4chan’s /bant/, /jp/, and to a lesser extent /qa/ boards. What you saw from him today was just a taste of what those three boards had to deal with until /jp/ dealt with it rather decisively by rangebanning UK from the board - which made the native Brits hate him even more after all the regular spam he did in Sakuya and Cirno threads with his low quality gore “OC”. Last I checked it was still in effect, but it was necessary because he’d ban evade, likely with a phone. But at least his home WiFi is static IP since he had to serve a month-long ban before on /bant/.

Keep an eye out for him though, I don’t think we’ve seen the last of him, and ofc I’ll tag him as AOF in my reports if I see him on this site again.

As for the other lolcow business, evidently I missed it.

Well thank you for your diligence in looking out for him anon. I would not have banned him if he hadn't spammed blatantly after being warned about it. In terms of the lolcow thing, a few people were pushing some image related to barney and calling him out as some sort of lolcow, and that barney image kept getting posted and derailing threads whenever it was. So the offenders got warns and nothing's happened since, so it should be fine.

All in all the lesson to be learned here (aside from read the rules) is that I'm not gonna ban people just for being shitty posters, you gotta break a rule.
